Antenna Box #3

This is another page inspired by Mickey's peculiar antenna configuration and the attempts to make it work with the radio.

The previous box (#2) was designed with the extensive help of Gemini. It didn't work.
Reverting to his "Here, hold my beer" routine, Mickey removed the old yellow primary and wrapped a mess of 18 AWG green wire in it's place.

This is pretty much it in a nutshell:

Yes, it is ugly.

First attempt:

Band 6: nothing Band 5: a possible Cuban station at 13.5 MHz (more or less), S meter 8-9
A few others near by. Knobs 0 and 0
Band 4: one station near 9.7 MHz. Knobs didn't seem to do much. Box didn't seem to do much. Band 3: nothing yet Band 2: nothing yet

The verdict?

Another waste of time.

Next step is another antenna. The HOA can go poop in it's hat.
