The SX-28 RF modules have some adjustments that are [A] difficult to turn and [B] very susceptable to metal/magnetic/conductive interference. I'm thinking of the big pads in the oscillator for instance.
A search of Amazon brings up small RF & TV alignment tool but nothing beefy enough to deal with the SX-28. And they're not cheap!
So, like rednecks and Marines everywhere, "improvise, adapt, and overcome."
One of the green fiberglass rods that gardeners use to prop up plants:
Saw a slot in the end, take some heavy duty snips to a #6 washer and Bob's Yer Uncle!
It needs to be filed and cut down to make it screwdriver like but there's enough progress made to put it up here.
